Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing and over-seeing manual labor tasks, including loading, storing, and issuing inventory and non-inventory items. The incumbent also issues & receives all warehouse inventory, prepares & maintains all related records and reports, maintains order of inventory, and deliver inventory to other locations.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform deliveries on company trucks, loads trucks, documents shipments, receiving, unloading, and storing product or files, maintain inventory and storage areas, secures warehouse, maintain safe, secure work environment.
  • Assist with office moves.
  • Maintain warehouses in an organized and clean condition.
  • Verify and inventory all new merchandise that arrives throughout the week.
  • Assist with set up of casino marketing projects as needed.
  • Adheres to all Illinois Gaming Commission Regulations and Departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Attend seminars when needed.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases to include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Reviewing inventory stock levels and placing orders to maintain par levels.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Organizational skills.

ABILITY TO:

  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with outside contacts and all levels of team members.
  • Obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

 

High school diploma or GED required.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
