POSITION SUMMARY:

 Under the direction of a Table Games Floor Supervisor, is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer while performing the functions of a Table Games Dealer on an assigned shift.  The incumbent is also responsible for the delivery of Customer Service standards, while maintaining the integrity of the games.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for dealing an assigned game in accordance with established policy and procedures
  • Creates an atmosphere for guests to make Hard Rock their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
  • Provides game security and protects Company assets by facing games at all times and being able to recreate bets/situations when necessary.
  • Responsible for handling all monies (bankrolls, payoffs, come and prop bets, making change) accurately in games.
  • Able to verbalize all aspects of the game including answering questions in regard to other games and the property.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

  •  Must be able to deal Black Jack with a high level of proficiency.
  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Hard Rock operations.
  • Policies and procedures as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques. 

ABILITY TO: 

  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
